AIFF von PCM ist ein Tool zur Konvertierung von Dateien, die Stereo- oder Mono-, als linear PCM kodierte Audiodaten enthalten, in AIFF-Format.
Sie können oft eine Datei mit linearen PCM-Audiodaten als Ergebnis des Demuxens (Extrahierens) einzelner Streams von einer DVD erhalten. Für viele Anwendungen müssen Audiodaten als PCM z.B. in AIFF konvertiert werden, um sie verwenden zu können.
AIFF von PCM kann Dateien mit PCM-Audiodaten wie folgt verarbeiten:
- mono oder stereo
- 8 kHz, 16 kHz, 32 kHz, 44,1 kHz, 48 kHz, 96 kHz
- 8 Bit, 16 Bit oder 24 Bit
Diese Version kann keine komprimierten, mehrkanaligen, nicht-linearen, 20-Bit- oder AC3-Audiodaten konvertieren.

Works great -- when it works. Same problem with b11 that KENNEDYBRANDT posted previously: after using OSEx to rip audio from a concert DVD (which I own), this utility could only convert 7 of the 14 tracks. The others were listed in red in the bin and could not be converted.
(Ultimately, I ended up working with VOB files and another audio extraction utility anyway since OSEx put a constant clicking into the PCM files that this utility could convert.)
It would still be my first attempt to ease and speed, but my 50% success rate for it may keep me from trying again.

the interface is great but I cannot get it to work. the same files can be converted by SoundHack.

Seemed to be exactly what I needed, but has yet to produce a usable result, even with the right sampling rate setting, and fails to explain why it won't convert 5 of my 7 .pcm files.
It *looks* nicely done... it just doesn't work for me.
